Wilson fuses visual and performance art in his unique bricolage style.
Performance art work: Y Kant I be Tori, performed on the 22nd of August 2017, as part of the Mudfest Arts Festival at Union House, The Melbourne University, Parkville.
Responding directly to the festival premises of an ‘ever increasing frightening world’. This ekphrasis work drew on selected songs from the 1992 album Little Earthquakes.
In the work, I painted ‘vote yes’ on the wall, as a statement on the marriage equality debate at the time. Quite frankly, my statement should have been about the politicised environment that is Union Theatre at the Univeristy of Melbourne.
